DevOps Engineer Fresher Job Opportunity in Kolkata – Linux, AWS, Apache, Nginx, MERN & LAMP Stack

idiosystech is seeking a DevOps Engineer (Fresher) with a proactive mindset and strong problem-solving abilities to support critical infrastructure operations. This position offers hands-on exposure to Linux server management, cloud services, deployment, and automation. The role is ideal for candidates looking to build a strong foundation in DevOps practices while working with industry-standard technologies.

• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve server, network, and application issues efficiently to ensure stable infrastructure.
• Infrastructure Management: Manage, monitor, and maintain Linux-based servers for high availability and optimal performance.
• Cloud Operations: Work with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC) to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure.
• Deployment Management: Assist in deploying and maintaining applications on MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) and LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).
• Automation: Develop scripts using Bash or Python to automate routine infrastructure tasks and deployment processes.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of applications.
• Responsive Support: Provide timely support for technical issues during standard working hours; occasional support outside hours may be requested.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
• Experience with automation/configuration management tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Linux operating systems, networking, cloud services, and database management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Freshers or candidates with up to 6 months of relevant experience can apply.
