DevOps Engineer I / II – Phenom | Hyderabad, India

Phenom is hiring DevOps Engineers who are passionate about building scalable infrastructure, optimizing CI/CD automation, and improving developer workflows. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working with Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, configuration management systems, and Python-based tooling to create efficient, reliable DevOps ecosystems.

• Design and implement configuration management pipelines using Chef or Salt.
• Manage multiple Kubernetes (k8s) clusters and ensure high availability.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for CI and ArgoCD or Spinnaker for CD.
• Automate developer and DevOps workflows to maximize engineering productivity.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and collaborate with development teams.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Build internal utilities and tools using Python and frameworks such as Django.
• Work with metrics and monitoring solutions including Prometheus.

Required Experience

• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and core k8s concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Chef or Salt for configuration management.
• Solid experience with Terraform for IaC.
• Programming experience with Python and Django.
• Scripting experience using Bash or Python.
• Experience working with BSD, GNU/Linux, or Unix-like operating systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability systems such as Prometheus.
