Requirements
DP World is hiring a DevOps Engineer I responsible for building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, improving CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring reliable application deployments across Azure environments.
This role focuses on DevOps automation, cloud infrastructure management, Kubernetes operations, CI/CD pipelines, and application monitoring.
- Build internal platforms and tools to improve developer experience
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and security scans
- Ensure consistent and reliable deployment processes
- Deploy applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Manage Azure Virtual Machines and Azure App Services
- Ensure high availability, backup, and disaster recovery setups
- Implement zero-downtime deployment strategies
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or Ansible
- Maintain backup and restore procedures
- Integrate application performance monitoring tools
- Manage logs, alerts, and system health dashboards
- Implement cloud security best practices
- Research and adopt new DevOps tools and methodologies
- Improve existing deployment and operational processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Programming knowledge: Python, Ruby, Node.js, PHP, or Perl
- CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TeamCity, or Harness
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible
- Cloud platform: Azure preferred
- Git and version control workflows
- Kubernetes and Docker
- Linux system administration
- Networking fundamentals
- SQL and NoSQL database knowledge
- Cloud security understanding
- Strong problem-solving ability
