DevOps Engineer I – Kubernetes | Helm | CI/CD | Service Mesh | Terraform | Netomi

Netomi is expanding its DevOps & Infrastructure Engineering team and is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to collaborate closely with development teams and ensure reliable, monitored, and highly available systems.

• Design, deploy, and administer Kubernetes clusters
• Implement and enforce RBAC, access control, and namespace policies
• Optimize cluster performance, scaling, and resource usage

CI/CD Pipeline Development

• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, Spinnaker, or similar
• Automate deployment workflows to enhance release speed and reliability

Helm Chart Development

• Create, maintain, and optimize Helm templates for Kubernetes applications
• Manage chart versioning, templating logic, and deployment strategies

Service Mesh Implementation

• Integrate and operate service meshes such as Istio or Linkerd
• Implement traffic management, observability, and secure mTLS-based communication

Scripting & Automation

• Write automation scripts in Python, Ruby, or Golang
• Use scripting for provisioning, monitoring, debugging, and operational tasks

Chaos & Resilience Engineering (Bonus)

• Implement chaos engineering practices to validate reliability
• Use tools like Chaos Monkey, Gremlin, or LitmusChaos

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of DevOps or relevant engineering experience

• Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Kubernetes administration, RBAC, Helm
  • CI/CD tools: Jenkins, ArgoCD, Spinnaker
  • Service mesh solutions (Istio, Linkerd)

• Mandatory: Amazon ECS and Terraform experience

• Scripting proficiency in Python, Ruby, or Golang

• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Understanding of networking, distributed systems, and infrastructure operations

Bonus Skills

• Chaos engineering tools: Chaos Monkey, LitmusChaos, Gremlin
• Experience with event-driven systems and distributed architectures
