E2logy is hiring a DevOps Engineer (IE) to manage on-premises IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and DevOps automation processes. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with AWS, system administration, networking, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.

Requirements

  • Manage on-premises servers, networks, system configurations, and hardware/software maintenance.
  • Oversee AWS cloud environments including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC.
  • Ensure high performance, availability, and security of both on-prem and cloud systems.
  • Implement system upgrades, patching, and configuration updates as needed.

Automation & DevOps Operations

  • Automate infrastructure management using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments.
  • Manage version control systems such as Git, GitHub, and GitLab.
  • Automate deployment workflows and streamline development processes.

Containerization & Orchestration

  • Monitor and maintain Docker and Kubernetes environments for scalability and reliability.
  • Implement environment consistency and deployment best practices across teams.

Monitoring, Backup & Disaster Recovery

  • Perform regular system and cloud backups.
  • Implement disaster recovery and rollback procedures.
  • Monitor system health, optimize performance, and ensure security compliance.

IT Support & Coordination

  • Provide IT support to internal employees and resolve infrastructure or cloud-related issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors for procurement, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Maintain clear documentation for infrastructure, IT workflows, and DevOps processes.

Core Requirements – Skills and Experience Needed

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Practical experience in IT infrastructure and AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC).
  • Strong understanding of DevOps tools and processes including CI/CD, automation, and version control.
  • Proficiency with Linux/Windows systems, networking, and security management.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Scripting knowledge (Python/Bash) for automation and integration tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • AWS certification (Solutions Architect, SysOps, DevOps Engineer).
  • Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Familiarity with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana.
  • Understanding of multi-cloud or hybrid cloud setups.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, cost optimization, and enterprise IT operations.
