We’re looking for enthusiastic DevOps Engineer Interns eager to learn, experiment, and grow in a dynamic, real-world engineering environment.
Requirements
The DevOps Engineer Internship at Qappa Labs is designed for students or fresh graduates who want hands-on exposure to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and modern DevOps tools. You’ll work directly with experienced engineers, contributing to projects that power production-grade systems.
This is a 6-month hybrid internship:
- First 3 months: Unpaid learning and contribution phase.
- Next 3 months: Paid phase (based on performance review).
- Top performers may receive a full-time offer upon completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or Bitbucket
- Work with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Learn containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
- Support cloud operations on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Write automation scripts in Bash, Python, or PowerShell
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
- Contribute to system documentation, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of Cloud Platforms, Networking, and Linux Systems
- Familiarity with Git and scripting languages
- Interest in Automation, CI/CD, and DevOps Toolchains
- Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn continuously
