Job Description
Miamin Systems is seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer with 0–3 years of experience to join their Hyderabad engineering team. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational knowledge in Linux, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and automation, eager to contribute to real-world deployments and infrastructure optimization.
The DevOps Engineer will collaborate with developers, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployment pipelines, maintain high system availability, and support cloud-based applications. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career engineers to gain hands-on experience with containers, CI/CD tools, and cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Manage configuration and automation using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Deploy, monitor, and support applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Maintain containerized environments using Docker and optionally Kubernetes
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and optimize system performance
- Support version control, build processes, and automated testing workflows
- Collaborate with teams to improve deployment efficiency and reliability
- Monitor system health using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems
- Hands-on exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP
- Experience with containerization (Docker mandatory, Kubernetes preferred)
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell)
- Understanding of networking concepts: DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls, VPN
- Knowledge of Git version control
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Optional certifications in AWS, Azure, or DevOps tools considered an advantage
