Requirements
- Build automation tools to streamline provisioning for internal and external users.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance our customer experience.
- Maintain high-availability infrastructure with 99.9% uptime.
- Work on mission-critical DevOps projects including GKE automation, observability, and new tooling.
- Contribute to Lucidworks’ cloud-first onboarding initiatives.
- Operate efficiently in Agile workflows and international development teams.
Tech Stack
- Languages: Python, Golang
- Tools: Terraform, Helm, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD
- Cloud: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), GKE
- Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Rootly
- Search Tech: Solr, Apache Lucene
- Containerization: Kubernetes (2+ years), Istio, kops
Required Skills
- 5+ years in a DevOps role for a PaaS/SaaS product.
- Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and Helm.
- Familiarity with JVM tuning, GC optimization, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, observability, and incident response.
- Comfortable with shift-based work including one weekend day and on-call duties.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Preferred
- Experience with Apache Solr, Lucene, or Elasticsearch.
- Prior exposure to international or remote teams.
