Requirements

This role focuses on architecting, scaling, and automating cloud-native infrastructure across GCP and AWS. You will work extensively with Terraform, CI/CD automation, containerized workloads, and modern cloud services to support enterprise-grade SaaS environments.


Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure as Code & Cloud Architecture

  • Design and manage Terraform-based infrastructure across multi-environment setups
  • Manage GCP services: GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Build, VPC, Cloud Armor, Load Balancers
  • Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules
  • Implement GitOps workflows via Terraform Cloud

Database & Data Infrastructure

  • Administer MongoDB Atlas clusters: backups, replication, networking
  • Manage Redis (Cloud Memorystore)
  • Configure BigQuery datasets and data pipelines
  • Optimize Cloud Storage with lifecycle policies

CI/CD & Automation

  • Build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Cloud Build
  • Manage container build workflows, GCR/Artifact Registry
  • Automate deployments with OIDC/Workload Identity Federation
  • Develop automation scripts in Python and Bash
  • Implement code validation and pre-commit hooks

Monitoring & Incident Response

  • Configure monitoring with Google Cloud Monitoring and Sentry
  • Set up alerting, APM, distributed tracing, and log-based metrics
  • Manage uptime checks, SLO/SLI tracking
  • Perform root cause analysis and preventive actions

Security & Compliance

  • Configure Cloud Armor WAF, DDoS protection, and rate limiting
  • Manage Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP)
  • Implement SSL/TLS automation
  • Enforce IAM, encryption, private networking, and security best practices

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Work with engineering teams on performance and scalability
  • Participate in architecture discussions
  • Maintain documentation, runbooks, and infrastructure guides
  • Mentor team members on DevOps and IaC practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in production-grade cloud environments
  • Strong expertise in GCP
  • Advanced skills in Terraform, module development, and state management
  • MongoDB Atlas administration experience
  • Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless container experience
  • CI/CD with GitHub Actions and Cloud Build
  • Strong proficiency in Python and Bash scripting
  • Experience with cloud-native monitoring and logging
