DevOps Intern – Nomisma Technology | Chandigarh / Mohali (On-site)

As a DevOps Intern, you’ll work with our engineering team on real cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation workflows, gaining exposure to modern DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Assist in maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / GitLab CI).
- Containerize services using Docker and handle basic Kubernetes tasks in non-production environments.
- Write Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform under guidance.
- Help set up monitoring and alerting systems with Prometheus and Grafana, and configure log shipping.
- Contribute to release checklists, runbooks, and post-deployment verifications.
- Document repeatable steps and maintain internal knowledge bases.
What You’ll Need
- Comfortable working with Linux, Bash, and Git.
- Exposure to at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) through coursework or projects.
- Basic scripting skills (Python preferred) for small automations.
- Clear communication skills and a strong willingness to learn.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of AWS basics (IAM, EC2, S3, VPC).
- Familiarity with Docker Compose and Terraform modules.
- A personal home lab setup or a GitHub project demonstrating your learning and automation experience.
