OLake is an open-source platform that makes it effortless to stream data into Apache Iceberg and maintain healthy tables at petabyte scale.

We are a team of open-source engineers based in Bangalore, India, backed by $1M in seed funding, building one of the fastest and most reliable data replication systems in the Apache Iceberg ecosystem.
Requirements
- Automate deployments and scale OLake’s cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes and Helm.
- Monitor and optimize OLake’s production pipelines across multi-cloud environments.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, observability dashboards, and security workflows.
- Collaborate with the core team to improve reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Document setups, write sample configs, and contribute to open-source DevOps tooling.
- Prior internship experience in backend or systems development (must be a real company, not training institutes like Crio.do, Scaler, or Coding Ninjas).
- Strong Linux system administration skills.
- Familiarity with Bash, Git, and Docker.
- Basic understanding of cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Working knowledge of Go, Python, or Shell scripting.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Helm, or CloudFormation.
- Experience using Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring.
- Advanced Docker troubleshooting skills.
- Contributions to open-source or community DevOps projects.

- Comfortable troubleshooting distributed systems and network setups.
- Pursuing or recently completed a CS/IT degree (or equivalent hands-on experience).
