As a DevOps Site Reliability Engineer, this role focuses on monitoring, incident response, system reliability, and operational excellence across cloud-based infrastructure supporting millions of users worldwide.

LotusFlare builds and operates the Digital Network Operator® (DNO™) Cloud, a cloud-native platform licensed by telecommunications service providers globally to support large-scale digital commerce and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities of the DevOps Site Reliability Engineer
Cloud Monitoring and Incident Management
- Monitor backend services running on cloud-based infrastructure
- Respond to, investigate, and resolve production incidents
- Analyze system metrics, logs, traffic patterns, configuration changes, and deployments
Reliability Engineering and Automation
- Improve system reliability through proactive testing and validation
- Build automation to enhance troubleshooting and investigation workflows
- Develop internal tools to streamline operational support processes
Observability and Alerting Systems
- Support, improve, and extend monitoring and alerting platforms
- Test, deploy, and enhance new functionality for existing observability tools
Post-Incident Analysis and Reporting
- Draft incident reports and post-mortems
- Summarize findings and propose preventive improvements
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with developers and infrastructure teams
- Participate in shared on-call responsibilities and incident ownership
- Contribute to a culture of shared accountability and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar operations-focused role
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux (Ubuntu) command-line and system administration
- Solid understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP and UDP
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python
- Experience troubleshooting API-driven services
- Practical experience with Docker and container-based systems
- Experience working with Kubernetes
- Working knowledge of Git and release management processes
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Professional-level written and spoken English
Preferred and Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana (including query languages)

Familiarity with Nginx or OpenResty

Exposure to telecommunications protocols such as CAMEL, MAP, or Diameter

Background in software development or advanced scripting

Basic knowledge of Cassandra and PostgreSQL

Experience with AWS cloud services, including:
- EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift
- ELB / ALB, ElastiCache
- Route 53, Direct Connect, Elastic IPs

CI/CD pipeline experience using Jenkins

Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform
