E2logy Software Solutions Private Limited is hiring a Junior DevOps Engineer (JDE) who is enthusiastic about learning, growing, and working hands-on with modern cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools. This role is ideal for early-career engineers looking to build strong foundations in cloud platforms, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure operations.
The position involves close collaboration with development and DevOps teams, exposure to real-world cloud environments, and opportunities to contribute to both DevOps and internal IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud and Infrastructure Support
- Support and maintain AWS cloud environments including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and ECS
- Monitor cloud infrastructure, generate reports, and assist with backup and recovery activities
- Assist with infrastructure automation using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
CI/CD and Containerization
- Assist in managing and improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes to support containerized environments
- Support release and deployment activities across environments
Collaboration and Documentation
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams on infrastructure and deployment tasks
- Document system configurations, operational procedures, and DevOps workflows
Internal IT and Developer Support
- Support developer workstations, including OS configuration and local development environments
- Assist with tooling setup such as XAMPP, WAMP, and related development tools
- Manage access control, VPN configuration, and connectivity support
- Coordinate with ISPs to resolve internet connectivity issues
- Provide basic network troubleshooting support for internal development teams
Required Qualifications and Skills
Education
- BE / B.Tech in Computer Engineering or a related discipline
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of AWS cloud services
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, and Bamboo
- Hands-on exposure to Docker and CI/CD concepts
- Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Fundamental understanding of networking concepts
Professional Attributes
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in the DevOps domain
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Good documentation and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana
