Extentia is hiring DevOps Engineer – India (Remote/On-site)

Extentia is looking for a DevOps Engineer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in DevOps tooling, Kubernetes deployments, and cloud platforms like Azure. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to scalable system design, automation strategy, and secure CI/CD implementation.

• Design and implement secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines
• Deploy applications to Kubernetes using Helm charts
• Build and maintain automation with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bamboo, or Travis
• Write and maintain Terraform code for CI/CD infrastructure
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate and adopt DevOps practices
• Troubleshoot build issues in Node.js and Python environments
• Automate manual processes and improve system reliability
• Implement and manage secure DevOps practices and tools
• Work with code quality tools like SonarQube
• Manage private package repositories (npm, PyPI, NuGet)
• Participate in stakeholder communications and change rollouts

• 2–4 years of DevOps experience with strong infrastructure and system design background
• Experience deploying to and managing Kubernetes environments
• Proficient in scripting (bash, sh, ksh)
• Skilled in CI tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Travis, or Bamboo
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
• Strong understanding of Git, development workflows, and secure coding practices
• Familiar with Azure or another major cloud platform
• Proficient in at least one programming language: Python, JavaScript, or Go
• Experience configuring and using code quality tools (SonarQube)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with continuous deployment and zero-downtime strategies
• Knowledge of GitHub Enterprise administration
• Strong advocacy for automated testing and DevOps best practices
• Quick adaptability to emerging technologies and frameworks
