The Ministry of Home Affairs and the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) are offering a prestigious free internship for students pursuing UG, PG, and PhD degrees across India. This is a golden opportunity to gain real-world experience in cybercrime investigation, national security, digital forensics, and cybersecurity.

Requirements
Who Can Apply?
Students currently pursuing degrees in:
- IT / Computer Science / ECE
- Cybersecurity / InfoSec / Forensics
- AI / ML / Data Analytics
- Law (LLB/LLM)
- Criminology / Sociology
- Any cyberspace-related field

Internship Locations
- I4C HQ – NDCC-II, New Delhi
- NCFL – Dwarka, New Delhi
- Shivaji Stadium, New Delhi
- JCCTs across States/UTs
Duration & Batch Intake
Summer Batch: April – September
Winter Batch: October – March
- UG / PG: 2 months
- PhD: 4 months
Total Intake per Batch:
- 25 UG | 15 PG | 10 PhD
(100 interns per year)
What You’ll Learn
- Hands-on cybercrime investigation
- Field visits to NCFL, NCRB, Cyber Helplines
- Work on national digital security projects
- Mentorship by senior professionals
Stipend
- UG: ₹6,000/month
- PG: ₹10,000/month
- PhD: ₹20,000/month
(Paid via PFMS after report approval)
Intern Responsibilities
- Study and analyze cybercrime trends
- Assist with awareness content and reports
- Maintain confidentiality (NDA required)
- Submit final project report and presentation
🏆 Certificate issued only after successful evaluation.
Logistics
- Workspace at I4C offices provided
- Interns must arrange their own accommodation in Delhi
