We are looking for a DevOps Intern to join the Engineering team, reporting to the Associate Director DevOps. This hybrid role is based in Hyderabad and offers an opportunity to work in a fast growing, innovation driven environment that supports mission critical systems used by global enterprises.
As a DevOps Intern, you will contribute to the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of Gainsight’s customer success and product platforms. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and cross functional teams while gaining hands on experience in DevOps automation, cloud operations, and CI CD workflows.
Requirements
- Scripting and automation of DevOps tasks
- Handling access provisioning requests using DevOps tools
- Managing entry and exit formalities related to system access
- Supporting CI and CD workflows with minor enhancements
- Enhancing Jira workflows for improved engineering productivity
- Handling adhoc operational requests from the Engineering team
The scope of the role may evolve based on team and business needs. Occasional travel may be required for team meetings, training, or company events.
Requirements
Educational Qualification
- 2024 or 2025 graduate in Computer Science or a related domain
Technical Skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Hands on experience in at least one programming language
- Ability to solve normal to average complexity coding problems
- Basic knowledge of Linux commands
- Basic understanding of SQL
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast paced environment
- Ability to collaborate across teams
