Genpact is Hiring: Consultant – Cloud DevOps Engineer (ITO094469)

We are inviting applications for the role of Consultant – Cloud DevOps Engineer. This role is focused on automation, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), DevOps lifecycle management, and continuous delivery pipelines. You will work closely with engineering teams to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-scale DevOps solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on DevOps, public cloud, and automation in enterprise-scale environments.
• Understand requirements, work independently, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Identify improvements in existing setups and implement automation strategies.
• Develop custom scripts (Shell, Bash, Python, Perl, etc.).
• Create and manage Jenkins pipelines for AWS and Azure.
• Write Chef cookbooks and Ansible playbooks for configuration management.
• Use Terraform and Packer for provisioning cloud resources.
• Manage source code with Git.
• Automate operational tasks, builds, and patching processes.
• Support middleware technologies: Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic.
• Work with cloud services (VMs, storage, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, Resource Groups, etc.).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Strong experience in AWS and/or Azure platforms.
• Hands-on expertise with Linux (CentOS/RHEL).
• Proficiency in scripting: Shell, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, YAML, JSON.
• Solid knowledge of DevOps tools: Jenkins, Docker, Chef, Terraform, Ansible, Git, Azure Repos.
• Understanding of package management (Yum, DNF, Apt, DPKG).
• Familiarity with API integration and database basics.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written) to document and present solutions.
• Knowledge of ITIL Service Management framework is a plus.
