Role Overview
As a Product Support Engineer, you will work with Google's AI-driven ad products, particularly focusing on Performance Max. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and developing solutions to improve customer experiences. You will play a key role in enhancing support efficiency, working closely with Product and Engineering teams to refine features and address customer pain points. This position is ideal for someone with a technical background and a passion for problem-solving in the ad technology space.
Requirements
- Develop Tools & Automation: Create automation tools for diagnostics and debugging, optimizing processes and improving support efficiency.
- Product Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of Google’s AI-driven ad products (e.g., Performance Max) to provide effective guidance and troubleshooting.
- Data Analytics: Utilize data analytics to identify recurring issues, analyze root causes, and propose operational enhancements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to provide feedback, improve features, and enhance user experience.
- Customer-Focused Solutions: Deliver end-to-end solutions that improve product adoption and address customer pain points.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: Experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Data/SQL and web technologies.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible, non-standard hours to meet customer needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Analytics: Experience in business analysis, including developing dashboards and making recommendations based on data insights.
- Tech Support/Engineering: Experience in technical product/cloud support, Quality Engineering (QE), or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Advertising Experience: Familiarity with Google Ads or other online advertising solutions.
- Customer-Facing Role: Experience translating technical concepts to non-technical and executive audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to offer tactical customer-focused solutions.
- Customer-Centric: Excellent empathetic mindset with a commitment to owning the end-to-end customer experience.
