Key Responsibilities of DevOps Intern at Greamio

• Collaborate with the engineering team to manage and enhance infrastructure supporting company products.
• Assist developers by building tools and processes for seamless code deployment and release cycles.
• Create automation tools for server provisioning, building, and deployment.
• Automate systems for 24x7 monitoring and ensure proactive failure recovery.
• Support in resolving outages, incidents, and maintaining system uptime to meet SLAs.
• Perform routine audits, patching, upgrades, and capacity planning with the DevOps team.
• Scale and maintain compute and storage infrastructure for different product teams.

Required Skills and Technical Knowledge

• Understanding of system internals and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPN, routing, switching, load balancing, security, and DNS.
• Ability to configure and monitor data center infrastructure (load balancers, firewalls, switches, instances).
• Experience or knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.
• Cloud computing exposure on AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure.
• Practical experience in deploying applications on AWS Marketplace is a plus.
