Hiring DevOps Engineer | Trivandrum / Kochi | 1–2 years

seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with 1–2+ years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, with added value for experience in Azure and GCP. Proficiency in Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation tools like Ansible is essential. A strong background in Linux systems and a mindset for continuous improvement are highly valued.

• Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure primarily on AWS; optional exposure to Azure and GCP.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot production Kubernetes clusters.
• Build and optimize containerized applications using Docker and Helm.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes to ensure streamlined delivery.
• Use Terraform or similar IaC tools to manage cloud infrastructure.
• Implement modular and reusable infrastructure components.
• Automate environment provisioning and application deployments using Ansible or similar tools.
• Set up monitoring and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
• Handle system administration and optimization for Linux-based environments.
• Apply security best practices for identity management, RBAC, and secrets handling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with development and business goals.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for infrastructure and DevOps-related issues.

Required Competencies

• Proven hands-on experience with AWS; familiarity with Azure and GCP is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Skilled in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools.
• Hands-on knowledge of Ansible or equivalent configuration management tools.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems and shell scripting.
• Familiar with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
• Strong grasp of networking, firewalls, and load balancing concepts.
• Knowledge of DevOps security practices including IAM, RBAC, and secrets management.
• Comfortable working with Git for version control and tools like Jira for task tracking.
