Job Description

Medpace is looking for a motivated Entry-Level Software Engineer to join its growing Information Technology team. This role will focus on modernizing aging applications, working on administrative systems, and contributing to software development projects. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a desire for process ownership, and a passion for implementing new technologies.

Requirements

  • Collect, analyze, and document user requirements
  • Design, modify, develop, and support software applications
  • Participate in the software validation process, including test planning and execution
  • Follow the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to release and maintenance
  • Collaborate with team members on development, tools, and best practices
  • Work with C#, ASP.NET, SQL, and web technologies
  • Opportunity to lead software development projects in the future

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Knowledge of C#, Angular, Webservices, GraphQL, Git, and relational databases
  • Experience with Entity Framework and Azure DevOps is a plus
  • Understanding of SDLC and software release management
  • Exposure to cloud-based system modernization (Azure) is an advantage
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills in English
