The Opportunity

As an Infrastructure Engineer at Komodo Health, you will be part of the Sentinel Team, responsible for building and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure.

You will work on scalable technical solutions, ensuring reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness while supporting over 150+ client organizations.

Your First 12 Months at Komodo Health

✔ Gained deep knowledge of Sentinel’s cloud infrastructure and its customers.

✔ Built and operated AWS-based cloud infrastructure tailored to customer needs.

✔ Resolved development and deployment challenges to enhance scalability and reliability.

✔ Collaborated with solution architects and customer success teams for new feature rollouts.

✔ Developed monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue resolution.

✔ Strengthened infrastructure security across networks, storage, and access management.

✔ Participated in an on-call rotation for critical system incidents.

What You Bring (Required Skills)

✅ Cloud Infrastructure Expertise – Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC).

✅ Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Proficiency in Terraform, Scalr, or similar tools.

✅ Programming & Scripting – Skilled in Python and/or Java, along with Bash or PowerShell.

✅ CI/CD Pipelines – Hands-on experience with GitActions, Jenkins, and automated deployments.

✅ Networking & Security – Strong understanding of subnets, CIDR, firewall rules, and access controls.

✅ Database Knowledge – Experience with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, Snowflake, Redshift.

✅ Operating Systems – Solid grasp of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows basics.

✅ Problem-Solving & Collaboration – Strong analytical skills and cross-team communication.

Bonus Skills (Preferred, Not Required)

➕ AWS Certification – AWS Cloud Infrastructure certification is a plus.

➕ Backend Development – Experience building APIs and microservices in Python or Java.

➕ Data Privacy Compliance – Understanding of HIPAA, GDPR, and other data regulations.

➕ Experience with Big Data Tools – Familiarity with Airflow, Spark, and data pipelines.

➕ Passion & Ownership – A strong sense of responsibility, innovation, and teamwork.
