Requirements

  • Manage and optimize Linux-based enterprise infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability
  • Perform server deployment, automation, and configuration management using Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet
  • Troubleshoot Linux networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall configurations
  • Implement server security best practices, patch management, and intrusion detection systems
  • Automate routine IT operations with Bash scripting, Python, and configuration management tools
  • Perform performance monitoring, log analysis, and root cause investigations
  • Support database operations, including SQL tuning, database clustering, and high-availability setups
  • Manage cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps engineers, cloud administrators, and IT support
  • Document troubleshooting processes, system architectures, and security policies

Advanced Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise Linux server deployments, containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud migration projects
  • Maintain high-performance storage systems, including SAN, NFS, and hybrid cloud storage
  • Optimize CI/CD pipelines, integrating Git, Jenkins, and cloud automation
  • Implement network security protocols, role-based access control, and Active Directory integration
  • Support disaster recovery strategies, data backup solutions, and failover configurations
  • Develop cloud-native applications, utilizing serverless computing, Kubernetes, and microservices

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Linux infrastructure management
  • Expertise in RedHat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Debian-based environments
  • Strong knowledge of server virtualization such as VMware, KVM, and Hyper-V, along with Kubernetes and containerization
  • Advanced troubleshooting of Linux networking, firewall rules, and load balancers such as F5, HAProxy, and Nginx
  • Proficiency in automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or SaltStack
  • Ability to write and debug Bash, Python, and Shell scripts
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, Linux hardening, and IT compliance standards like ISO, SOC2, and PCI-DSS
  • Experience with big data environments, high-performance computing, and scalable IT infrastructure
  • Understanding of disaster recovery planning, cloud failover strategies, and hybrid cloud models
  • Willingness to work in US time zones, participate in on-call rotations, and manage emergency IT incidents

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with large-scale Linux patch management and enterprise IT automation
  • Advanced knowledge of Cisco UCS, F5 load balancers, and high-performance networking
  • Expertise in hybrid cloud solutions, multi-cloud architecture, and serverless computing
