Job Description
Stats Perform, a global leader in sports technology, is seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join their team in Bangalore. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in network security, cloud solutions, and AI-driven sports data analytics.
Requirements
- Collaborate with technical management to align technology strategy with business goals
- Analyze business requirements to provide expert technical solutions
- Continuously review and improve network infrastructure for business continuity
- Provide hands-on implementation and support for network security solutions
- Participate in incident resolution and on-call rotations
- Select and integrate networking technologies for business needs
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing (OSPF, BGP, VRF, HSRP, PBR), and switching (STP, VPC, DHCP)
- Experience with Cisco Nexus, Multicast (PIM, IGMP), and VPN technologies (IPSec, IKE)
- Hands-on expertise with firewall vendors such as Check Point and Fortinet
- Knowledge of load balancing (F5 preferred) and security solutions like IPS, Web Proxies, and EDR
- Strong troubleshooting skills in high-pressure, multi-tech environments
- Experience designing network and security solutions, including HLD and LLD documentation
- Familiarity with network monitoring systems (SolarWinds Orion preferred)
Additional Qualifications
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies and travel if required
- Experience with ITIL methodology and mentorship of colleagues
- Cloud solution design experience (Azure, AWS, Oracle OCI) is a plus
- Automation skills using Ansible, Terraform, and scripting languages (Bash, Python)
- Experience with NAC solutions like Cisco ISE
