Hiring System Administrator

🔹 System Maintenance:

• Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of servers, workstations, and related hardware/software.
• Ensure systems are secure, optimized, and running efficiently.

🔹 User Account Management:

• Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within Active Directory or similar systems.
• Ensure users have the appropriate access levels while maintaining security standards.

🔹 Monitor System Health:

• Conduct regular performance checks and monitor system logs to identify potential issues.
• Report any system irregularities to senior team members for further assessment.

🔹 Software & Patch Management:

• Apply system patches, updates, and upgrades as required, under the guidance of senior administrators.
• Assist in scheduling maintenance to minimize disruptions.

🔹 Troubleshooting:

• Provide first-line support for server and network issues.
• Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff, documenting all troubleshooting steps taken.

🔹 Backups & Recovery:

• Support routine data backup processes and assist with recovery procedures as needed.
• Help ensure that backup protocols are consistently followed and data integrity is maintained.

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
✅ 1 to 3 years of experience in system administration, technical support, or a similar IT role.
✅ Knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, and network basics.
✅ Experience with system monitoring tools and remote management.
✅ Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and firewall configurations.
✅ Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash is a plus.
✅ Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a bonus.
