You will be part of our global IT Operations department, focusing on learning and assisting with the security and hosting models of our Azure cloud infrastructure. This full-time position is based in Chennai, India, through our partner Greaves Technologies. You'll have the chance to collaborate with teams in Norway, Denmark, the USA, and the UK.
Requirements
What You'll Learn and Do
As a DevOps Engineer Trainee, you'll get hands-on experience with CI/CD processes, Azure, and cloud security. You'll support our team in maintaining the stability and performance of our cloud-based digital solutions.
You'll contribute to and learn about:
- Cloud computing basics, focusing on how we use Microsoft Azure in our enterprise environment.
- Assisting with the implementation of security measures in Azure.
- Working with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps.
- Creating and managing cloud infrastructure, serverless computing, and containerized applications.
- Understanding disaster recovery and business continuity in cloud systems.
- Using Azure-native services like App Services, Azure SQL, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Participating in performance monitoring and cost optimization efforts.
- Collaborating with our cross-functional teams around the world.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of cloud platforms (Azure is preferred).
- Familiarity with scripting or coding languages such as Python, PowerShell, or YAML.
- A strong eagerness to learn about DevOps practices, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
