Intern - Network Operations Center (NOC)
Job Description
We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented interns to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team. This role is office-based and focuses on monitoring cloud infrastructure, managing incidents, and contributing to operational excellence. It’s a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cloud operations and incident management within a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Infrastructure Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance and availability of cloud infrastructure using industry-standard tools and dashboards.
- Incident Management:
- Respond promptly to alerts and incidents triggered by monitoring systems like PagerDuty.
- Escalate critical issues to the relevant teams following established protocols.
- Assist in root cause analysis and document incidents.
- Communication: Work closely with engineering and operations teams to resolve issues and minimize downtime.
- Documentation: Update runbooks, logs, and incident reports to maintain accurate records.
- Learning & Improvement:
- Gain hands-on experience with monitoring tools, cloud platforms, and operational workflows.
- Contribute ideas for improving monitoring and incident management processes.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, incident management systems, or platforms like PagerDuty is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts if required.
