The Jr. DevOps Engineer will assist in implementing and maintaining DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud environments. The position offers hands-on learning under senior DevOps professionals and exposure to cutting-edge tools in cloud, containerization, and configuration management.

• Gain practical experience in applying DevOps methodologies and principles.
• Work under senior engineers to understand tools, workflows, and best practices.

2. Version Control & Collaboration

• Use Git and GitLab for version control, code management, and team collaboration.

3. Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

• Assist in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and AWS CodeBuild.
• Learn automation techniques for code integration and delivery.

4. Containerization & Orchestration

• Work with Docker to build and manage containers.
• Gain exposure to Kubernetes for orchestration and scaling of applications.

5. Cloud Services

• Learn and operate within Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem.
• Work with EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC to deploy and manage cloud infrastructure.

6. Configuration Management & Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Assist in automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
• Learn configuration management using Ansible to ensure consistency across environments.

7. Monitoring & Reporting

• Utilize tools such as AWS CloudWatch and Nagios for monitoring system health, uptime, and performance metrics.

8. Collaboration & Project Management

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using JIRA for tracking tasks, sprints, and project updates.

Basic Qualifications

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

Certifications

• Completion of a recognized DevOps certification course is required.

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of Linux, Ubuntu, and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Shell, Python, or JavaScript.
• Foundational knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud computing concepts.
