Key Responsibilities of Junior DevOps AWS Engineer at Feathersoft
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot AWS resources including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS.
- Assist in designing secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure.
- Implement cost optimization and enforce AWS tagging best practices.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
- Automate deployments and infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Work with Docker containers and manage orchestration using Kubernetes or ECS.
- Monitor and maintain system performance using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Create dashboards and alerts with Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana to track system health.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve application and infrastructure issues.
- Configure and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
Skills and Experience Required for Junior DevOps AWS Role at Feathersoft
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on DevOps experience.
- Strong expertise with AWS services.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD.
- Proficient in Docker and container lifecycle management.
- Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration.
- Skilled in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Scripting proficiency in Shell, Bash, or Python.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, ELK, Datadog.
