Junior DevOps Engineer – Hyderabad (Full-Time | On-site / Hybrid)
Job Description
Stier Solutions Inc is looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our technology team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who want to strengthen their foundation in DevOps, cloud engineering, automation, and modern deployment workflows.
As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will assist in building and maintaining automation pipelines, deploying applications, supporting cloud environments, and ensuring system reliability. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and development teams while gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Support cloud infrastructure setup, operations, and monitoring across AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages and DevOps tooling
- Monitor application health, system uptime, performance metrics, and logs
- Collaborate with development teams to enable smooth and reliable deployments
- Contribute to containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
- Maintain clear documentation for processes, configurations, and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
- 0–2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud, or system administration (projects/internships accepted)
- Basic working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Foundational understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of Git and version control workflows
- Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and eagerness to learn
Preferred / Good-to-Have
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Familiarity with monitoring & observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
- Basic knowledge of networking and cloud security concepts
- Experience contributing in Agile or DevOps-based environments
