Junior DevOps Labs Engineer

About the Role
As a Junior DevOps Labs Engineer, you will work closely with trainers and the content team to design, create, and implement scalable hands-on lab training environments. You will also help deploy product updates, maintain lab infrastructure, and improve the learning experience for students.
Requirements
Lab Development
- Build new lab training exercises based on trainer requirements
- Create test scripts to validate student progress
- Develop quizzes to assess student knowledge
Infrastructure & Deployment
- Deploy and maintain lab infrastructure on cloud platforms
- Debug production issues and conduct root cause analysis
- Implement integrations to enhance student experience
- Develop automation frameworks using Terraform, Ansible, and Shell scripts
- Build cloud practice labs for AWS, Azure, and GCP
Support & Maintenance
- Provide Level 2 technical support
- Design troubleshooting and maintenance procedures
- Participate in on-call rotations for support
- Be open to occasional late meetings with instructors in the USA
Requirements
- Expertise in Linux System Administration
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Hands-on knowledge of scripting languages like Bash/Shell, JSONPath
- Strong written communication skills
- Willingness to review and improve lab content
Good to Have
- Knowledge of Python
- Training or presentation experience
