Junior Platform Engineer (Linux)

Infraveo is looking for a Junior Platform Engineer (Linux) to join their team and contribute to the development and maintenance of their platform infrastructure. This remote position involves deploying, monitoring, and scaling cloud-based systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and adherence to security best practices.

• Assist in maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPC.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement security best practices and maintain compliance with industry standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations to respond to system alerts and incidents.
• Document procedures and configurations for knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in cloud computing and infrastructure automation.
• Manage Staging environment to minimize errors in Production.
• Contribute to tools and processes that automate operational activities to ensure smooth platform running.

Requirements

• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC).
• Experience with Linux-based systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch and Nagios.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Experience with Confluence and Jira is an advantage.
