Junior Software Engineer - Remunance

Remunance is looking for a skilled and versatile Junior Software Engineer with expertise in React, React Native, JavaScript, Node.js, and TypeScript. The ideal candidate should have experience working with Firebase, Firestore, and cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure. Familiarity with iOS and Android development, website development using Next.js, and analytics tools like Power BI and Looker Studio is a plus.

Job Summary

This role involves developing scalable web and mobile applications while collaborating with developers, product managers, and QA teams. The engineer will work on front-end and back-end development, cloud integrations, and data analytics to ensure high-quality software solutions.

Frontend Development:

• Build responsive web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Develop mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native
• Optimize user interfaces for performance and scalability
• Work with Figma designs to ensure UI/UX alignment

Backend Development:

• Develop server-side logic using Node.js and TypeScript
• Implement cloud functions and automated workflows on GCP

Cloud & Database Management:

• Manage Firebase services such as Firestore and Authentication
• Deploy and maintain applications on GCP and Azure

Cross-Platform Development:

• Ensure seamless functionality across web, iOS, and Android platforms
• Address platform-specific challenges for optimal performance

Collaboration & Code Quality:

• Work with remote teams, QA, and product managers to deliver high-quality features
• Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and maintain best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs

Documentation & Analytics:

• Maintain development documentation
• Use Power BI and Looker Studio for performance and user behavior analysis

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in React.js, React Native, JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, and TypeScript
• Experience with Firebase services like Firestore and Authentication
• Familiarity with GCP (including Cloud Functions) and Azure
• Experience in website development using Next.js
• Knowledge of native iOS/Android development (Swift, Objective-C, Java, Kotlin)
• Understanding of REST APIs, API integrations, and Axios
• Basic design principles and ability to work with Figma
• Strong collaboration skills for remote teamwork
• Experience with Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps for version control
• Exposure to analytical tools like Power BI and Looker Studio
