Position: DevOps Engineer

Location: Hyderabad Experience Required: 4–7 Years Category: DevOps, Cloud Engineering, CI/CD Automation

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, automation, and system reliability. The ideal candidate enjoys deep technical ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and building robust DevOps ecosystems at scale.

What You Bring (Required Skills)

• 4–7 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer in enterprise or SaaS environments
• Strong Linux administration skills (Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOS, Rocky)
• Proven expertise in CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI preferred; Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps accepted)
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or private cloud platforms
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, VPC, load balancers, firewalls
• Experience with monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar tools)
• Strong troubleshooting and operational support experience in production environments

Desired Skills

• Experience with VMware Tanzu or on-prem Kubernetes
• Understanding of microservices deployment architectures
• Knowledge in infrastructure cost optimization and capacity planning
• Experience with Kafka, ActiveMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL
• Certifications in DevOps, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure

Your Role as a DevOps Engineer

CI/CD and Automation

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Automate build, test, release, and deployment workflows
• Manage source control strategies and artifact repositories

Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering

• Provision and manage cloud and hybrid infrastructure
• Implement IaC using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Build observability through monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions

Containerization and Orchestration

• Manage Docker images and container registries
• Deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters (AKS, EKS, GKE, or on-prem)
• Ensure reliable cluster performance, scalability, and networking

Automation and Scripting

• Build automation workflows using Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Optimize systems, pipelines, and performance at scale

Security and Compliance

• Implement secure practices for IAM, RBAC, secrets, encryption, and TLS
• Support security assessments and compliance requirements

Collaboration and Operations

• Work closely with Development, QA, and Release Engineering
• Support production deployments, incident resolution, and post-mortems
• Create runbooks, documentation, and operational processes
