Requirements
We are looking for a Backend Engineer - DevOps (Cloud Native) to join our Platform Engineering team. You will design and maintain the infrastructure backbone of Lyric, working with Kubernetes, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
You’ll build custom operators, internal DevOps tooling, and collaborate with backend, ML, and SRE teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and developer efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build custom Kubernetes operators to automate infrastructure lifecycles.
- Develop DevOps tooling for deployment reliability and developer productivity.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Pulumi, or Crossplane.
- Drive adoption of GitOps workflows with tools like ArgoCD and Flux.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for microservices and data-heavy workloads.
- Collaborate with developers on cloud-native backend infrastructure.
- Enhance monitoring, security, and reliability across AWS, GCP, or Azure environments.
Requirements
- 2–6 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Native Backend.
- Strong Kubernetes internals knowledge and experience with custom operators (Go, Python, or Java).
- Hands-on expertise with Terraform, Pulumi, or Crossplane.
- Experience with GitOps practices (ArgoCD, Flux).
- Strong skills in CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Proficiency in Go (preferred) or Python.
- Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container ecosystems.
- Knowledge of observability stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry (nice to have).
- Passion for automation and cloud-native engineering best practices.
