Mad Devs is hiring a Remote Junior+ DevOps Engineer!

We are looking for a talented Junior+ DevOps Engineer with strong Docker expertise to join our globally distributed team. You will work on cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and scalable architecture for products used by millions of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, etc.).
• Deploy and maintain multi-container Docker applications.
• Develop custom Terraform modules for IaC automation.
• Configure and manage EKS clusters with high availability and scalability.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for production environments.
• Handle incident management and troubleshooting for infrastructure & deployments.
• Automate deployments for frontend & backend environments.
• Ensure cost optimization & performance tuning of cloud resources.
• Work with Linux systems administration including scripting & troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth delivery pipelines.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• AWS: Minimum 1 year of hands-on AWS project experience.
• System Administration: At least 2 years of Linux system administration experience.
• Docker: Strong knowledge & hands-on experience with Docker.
• Terraform: Practical experience, including developing custom modules.
• EKS (Kubernetes): Solid understanding & management experience.
• Monitoring: Expertise in setting up monitoring, alerting & logging systems.
• Incident Management: Ability to handle troubleshooting & infrastructure failures.
• Languages: English (B2+) & Russian (B2+).

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Cost optimization strategies for cloud infrastructure.
• Scripting & automation for CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or other observability tools.
