The System Administrator role at Milestone Technologies is responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining physical and virtual servers, operating systems, and enterprise IT applications. The position requires strong technical skills, hands-on experience with cloud and virtualization platforms, and the ability to ensure high availability, security, and scalability of IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and software applications.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot technical issues to optimize efficiency and reliability.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights to ensure compliance and security.
• Maintain and monitor data backup solutions (Commvault or Veeam) to safeguard data integrity.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and patch management globally.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to resolve technical issues and support business objectives.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
• Stay updated with emerging IT technologies, virtualization, and infrastructure best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration.
• Experience with VMware, Nutanix, or other hypervisors.
• Proficiency with Office 365 services including SharePoint.
• Hands-on expertise in Patch Management Software.
• Data backup experience with Commvault or Veeam.
• Ability to prepare reports and apply basic PowerShell scripting for automation.
