Millennium Hiring: Python Developer – Bangalore, India

We are looking for a talented Python Developer to support our in-house pricing and analytics library. This role involves working on distributed systems, microservices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in London, New York, and Miami to provide real-time Risk and P&L analysis.

• Design and enhance backend distributed systems for real-time Risk & PnL reporting
• Develop and integrate microservices with modern analytics libraries
• Collaborate with Quant Researchers, Traders, and Tech Teams globally
• Maintain high-performance, scalable code in a fast-paced FinTech environment

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Python development
• Knowledge of Client-Server architecture, Microservices, and Distributed Computing
• Proficiency in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Design Patterns
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub and version control practices
• Degree in Computer Science or a Quantitative Field
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
• Asynchronous programming and use of asyncio
• Familiarity with Reactive/Functional programming
• Exposure to Linux environments and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Java or Modern C++
• Experience in Financial Mathematics, Statistics, or Cross-Asset Pricing Systems
• Background in the Financial Industry
