Job Description

Netomi is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join its Product Engineering – DevOps & Infrastructure team. The role involves working closely with software engineering teams to deploy, operate, monitor, and optimize cloud-native systems and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, service mesh technologies, infrastructure automation, and cloud platforms.

This is a remote full-time opportunity to work on scalable AI-powered enterprise platforms used by global brands.

Key Responsibilities

Kubernetes Management

  • Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters
  • Configure and enforce RBAC policies and access controls
  • Optimize cluster scalability and performance
  • Manage Kubernetes deployments and operational workflows

CI/CD Pipeline Development

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using:
    • Jenkins
    • ArgoCD
    • Spinnaker
  • Automate deployment processes for faster and reliable software delivery
  • Improve deployment efficiency and operational workflows

Helm Template Management

  • Develop and maintain Helm charts for Kubernetes applications
  • Manage deployment versioning and release strategies using Helm

Service Mesh Implementation

  • Implement and manage service mesh technologies such as:
    • Istio
    • Linkerd
  • Configure traffic management, service discovery, and secure communication
  • Implement observability and monitoring within service mesh environments

Scripting & Automation

  • Develop automation scripts using:
    • Python
    • Ruby
    • Golang
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and debugging tasks

Chaos & Resilience Engineering

  • Implement chaos engineering principles to improve system reliability
  • Simulate failures and evaluate system resilience and recovery

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in DevOps or related roles
  • Strong experience with:
    • Kubernetes
    • RBAC
    • Cluster administration
    • Helm
  • Experience with CI/CD tools:
    • Jenkins
    • ArgoCD
    • Spinnaker
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Amazon ECS
    • Terraform
  • Experience with service mesh technologies:
    • Istio
    • Linkerd
  • Proficiency in scripting languages:
    • Python
    • Ruby
    • Golang
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms:
    • AWS
    • GCP
    • Azure
  • Strong understanding of:
    • System design
    • Networking
    • Infrastructure management
  • Knowledge of chaos engineering tools is a plus:
    • Chaos Monkey

    • Gremlin
  • Strong troubleshooting and automation skills
