OPT IT Technologies is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to support and enhance infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation. This role involves working across development, QA, and pre-production environments, with a focus on monitoring, automation, and system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Improve CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts.
• Manage development, QA, and pre-production environments.
• Automate manual tasks using Python, Shell, or Ansible.
• Monitor production systems and identify performance issues.
• Maintain and document infrastructure knowledge, while recommending improvements.
• Troubleshoot problems and provide support to Dev, QA, and Product teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with AWS.
• 2+ years of experience as a system administrator.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Shell, Bash).
• Solid understanding of Unix internals and cloud networking concepts.
• Experience with system monitoring design and implementation.
• Hands-on experience managing and securing production systems.
• Skills: AWS, Linux, Python, Shell, Ansible, APM, New Relic.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of observability stacks such as ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana.
