The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will play a key role in maintaining the availability, performance, and scalability of one of the world’s largest fintech infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux/Unix administration, networking, and open-source technologies, with hands-on experience managing cloud services and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize large-scale Linux/Unix systems.
• Support networking infrastructure and troubleshoot production issues.
• Work with open-source tools, cloud platforms, and automation frameworks.
• Implement best practices for high availability and service reliability.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure uptime and performance.
• Maintain secure configurations and compliance across production systems.
• Collaborate with development teams for CI/CD, monitoring, and scaling.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in System Engineering / SRE / DevOps roles.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with MySQL / MariaDB / Percona databases.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and open-source automation tools.
• Scripting skills in Python, Perl, or Golang.
• Familiarity with SaltStack or similar configuration management tools.
• Strong understanding of IP, iptables, and IPsec.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Desirable Skills

• Experience implementing KVM/QEMU-based cloud services on Linux.
• Familiarity with container orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as Aerospike.
• Experience with Galera Cluster operations.
• Exposure to data center management and on-premise infrastructure.
