Key Responsibilities of Redis L1 Cloud Operations Engineer Role
- Monitor Redis clusters and respond to system alerts in real time.
- Perform basic remediation tasks such as failovers, memory checks, and system optimizations.
- Follow runbooks and escalation procedures with precision.
- Collaborate across global shifts to maintain continuous 24/7 coverage.
- Communicate updates during incidents and escalate issues when needed.
- Document workflows, runbooks, and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Skills and Qualifications Required for Redis Cloud Operations Jobs
- 0–2 years of experience in technical support, NOC, or cloud operations.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals.
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar).
- Ability to work in shift-based teams with effective communication skills.
- Calm under pressure, disciplined, and eager to learn.
