• Monitor and maintain Linux server environments for optimal performance and reliability.
• Assist in server setup, configuration, and maintenance tasks.
• Provide timely technical support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Perform regular security monitoring, system updates, and backup operations.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to optimize performance and implement enhancements.
• Contribute to system documentation, procedures, and policies.
• Stay updated on the latest technology trends and RedSwitches internal systems.

Basic Requirements:

• Proficiency with Linux command-line tools.
• Understanding of basic network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, SSH).
• Familiarity with remote access tools and SSH.
• Basic knowledge of server hardware components.
• Problem-solving mindset and customer-focused attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Enthusiasm to grow in system administration and cloud computing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: CompTIA Linux+, RHCSA, or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms or managed services.
• Scripting experience with Bash or Python is a plus.
