About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Cloud Engineer to join our Managed Cloud Services team in Kochi. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about cloud technologies, infrastructure support, Linux systems, and customer-focused operations.

As a Junior Cloud Engineer, you will help monitor, maintain, and support cloud infrastructure environments while working closely with customers and internal technical teams. You will gain hands-on exposure to cloud platforms, server management, troubleshooting, and operational best practices in a fast-paced support environment.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Support

• Monitor and support customer cloud infrastructure environments
• Troubleshoot system and application-related issues across Linux and Windows platforms
• Assist in maintaining infrastructure stability, reliability, and uptime
• Support cloud-based deployments and operational tasks

Incident & Ticket Management

• Manage support tickets and incident requests efficiently
• Proactively follow up on customer issues until resolution
• Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the incident lifecycle
• Support application monitoring and operational health checks

System Administration

• Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux and Windows servers
• Support web services and infrastructure components including Apache, Nginx, MySQL, and PHP
• Work with virtualization and containerization technologies

Documentation & Collaboration

• Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and operational learnings
• Collaborate with team members to improve support processes and service quality
• Build strong customer relationships through effective communication and support

Continuous Learning

• Improve technical and operational skills through hands-on experience and training
• Stay updated with cloud technologies and infrastructure best practices

• 0-2 years of experience in Cloud Support, System Administration, or Infrastructure roles
• Basic understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems
• Familiarity with installing, configuring, and maintaining servers
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Understanding of web server technologies including Apache and Nginx
• Basic knowledge of MySQL, PHP, and related infrastructure services
• Familiarity with virtualization and containerization concepts
• Basic scripting knowledge using Bash, Python, or Perl
• Experience with monitoring systems and handling support tickets is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
