About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing infrastructure and observability team in Hyderabad. This role is ideal for early-career engineers passionate about cloud technologies, system monitoring, automation, and infrastructure reliability.
As part of the engineering team, you will support the implementation and maintenance of observability systems that help monitor, analyze, and optimize software applications and infrastructure performance. You will work closely with senior engineers while gaining hands-on exposure to cloud platforms, monitoring tools, incident management, and automation practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing infrastructure and observability initiatives
- Support system monitoring, performance analysis, and reliability improvements
- Help configure dashboards, metrics collection, logging, tracing, and alerting systems
- Participate in troubleshooting and incident response activities
- Learn and work with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, VictoriaMetrics, and New Relic
- Support automation efforts using scripting and infrastructure tooling
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve system visibility
- Assist with capacity planning and operational health reporting
- Create and maintain monitoring dashboards for real-time infrastructure insights
- Contribute to documentation and operational best practices

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (completed or in progress)
- 0-2 years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps roles
- Internship, project, or bootcamp experience is acceptable
- Basic understanding of system monitoring and observability principles
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Understanding of containerization concepts using Docker and Kubernetes
- Some scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Basic understanding of Linux and/or Windows Server environments
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals including VLANs, routing, and ACLs
- Exposure to VPN and routing concepts is a plus
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and collaboration abilities
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced engineering environment
- Familiarity with automation and CI/CD concepts is an added advantage
