Job Description
RS Software is hiring a Junior DevOps Engineer to join their team building global payment platforms. The company delivers mission-critical payment solutions with approximately 40% of global digital payment volumes processed on platforms built by RS Software. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge, high-performance payment systems serving central infrastructures, financial institutions, and payment processors worldwide.
As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will assist in designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support application delivery. You will support and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure platforms, deploy and monitor containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, and perform system administration tasks on Linux servers including RHEL, Ubuntu, and CentOS.
The position involves monitoring application and infrastructure health using logging and monitoring tools, automating routine operational tasks using shell scripting, and assisting in incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis. You will collaborate closely with development teams to ensure smooth deployments, maintain infrastructure documentation, and adhere to security best practices across environments.

Requirements
- B.Tech with 1-1.5 years of experience
- Strong working knowledge of Linux environments (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)
- Hands-on experience with version control systems, preferably Git
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent
- Basic understanding of cloud services including compute, networking, and storage (EC2, VPC, IAM, Load Balancers, S3, EFS)
- Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and audit services (CloudFront, CloudTrail)
- Practical experience with Docker
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes concepts including pods, services, and deployments
- Shell scripting skills for automation and operational tasks
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) is preferred
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK stack) is a plus
- Basic networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing)
- Awareness of security best practices including IAM, firewall rules, and secrets management
