The DevOps Engineer at SailPoint plays a critical role in supporting the Identity Security Cloud product suite. This position requires working with global teams across engineering, product management, and operations to deliver a resilient, secure, and scalable SaaS infrastructure hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize secure SaaS platforms ensuring compliance with established SLAs.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, incident management, and scaling operations.
• Design and implement strategies for resilient microservices-based cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, and Services.
• Support developers in integrating new features and services into production environments.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory frameworks (ISO, SOX, SSAE 16).
• Improve operational practices and implement site reliability engineering (SRE) principles.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong experience in 24x7 production environments, ideally in SaaS or cloud service providers.
• Expertise in Linux administration and writing Shell scripts.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes orchestration and containerized environments.
• Scripting skills using Python for automation and DevOps workflows.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate across distributed global teams.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, agile engineering environment.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or SRE preferred.

Location and Work Mode

• Primary Location: Pune, India
• Alternative Work Mode: Remote (India)
