Sandvik is looking for a Software Developer to join the Mastercam team in Pune. The role involves working closely with experienced team members to develop, test, and maintain software solutions using modern practices and tools.

• Assist in designing, developing, and testing software for defect resolution and new features
• Adopt test-driven development practices
• Communicate project updates effectively
• Participate in planning meetings and coordinate with team members on implementations
• Build domain expertise and stay updated with tools and technologies
• Write, size, and help break down user stories and defects
• Participate in peer reviews
• Perform other development-related duties as required

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
• Experience:
  • 1–3 years of experience with C# or C++ in commercial application development
  • Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio for Windows development
  • Familiarity with source control, unit testing, and code reviews

Preferred Skills

• Experience in one of the domain areas for the assigned scrum team
• Exposure to Agile software development practices
