Requirements
As a remote DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing the reliability, scalability, and performance of our applications. Collaborate with global teams across the USA, Canada, Europe, and India, and contribute to delivering seamless software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for enterprise applications, resolving user inquiries and technical issues
- Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement preventive measures
- Manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems for proactive issue resolution
- Support upgrades, patches, and deployments with minimal disruption to users
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth software functionality
- Liaise with vendors and third-party providers for issue resolution and system enhancements
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
Skills & Qualifications Essential Skills:
- Experience in application support and troubleshooting
- Proficiency with JAVA, Angular, and MySQL database management
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS, especially AWS Batch, Lambda, RDS, ALB/EC2
- Experience in database monitoring, query optimization, and data archival using AWS RDS
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Knowledge of APIs, microservices, and system integrations
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
