Job Description

Scrut, backed by Lightspeed Ventures and Endiya Partners, along with prominent angels from the global SaaS community, is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our cloud operations team. As part of this role, you will operate our SaaS platform, encompassing multiple applications, APIs, and services, while ensuring high levels of reliability, uptime, performance, security, and observability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automate tasks in cloud operations, deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines for new applications and services
  • Handle build, release, and configuration management of production systems
  • Perform system troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains
  • Build tools to enhance observability
  • Evaluate new technology options and vendor products

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in DevOps and Cloud Operations, with a focus on AWS
  • Deep knowledge of AWS services including networking, EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, DynamoDB, and more
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like CloudFormation Templates (CFT) or Terraform for complex infrastructure setups
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Go
  • Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline
  • Knowledge of container management with Docker and orchestration tools like ECS or Kubernetes
  • Strong expertise in monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus
  • Proven experience in deploying, releasing, and managing production systems
  • MCA or engineering degree in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics
